February 1 – Silver City Brewery – Silverdale – An annual tradition, 2018, Silver City releases four limited edition of its Valentine’s Series that incorporates a host of devilishly delectable flavors. The porter, black ale, and stout have been aged in bourbon or port wine barrels. The fourth – dubbed “French Kiss” – is a fanciful cherry and passion fruit Saison also aged in port barrels. Each is available individually or as part of a special collector’s set that includes ChocMo truffles made with those beers. Available at the Bremerton tasting room or Silverdale restaurant.

February 10-11 – Wine on the Rock – Bainbridge Island – Take a tour of Bainbridge Island’s seven wineries, pairing red wines with artisanal local chocolates during. Tickets include special event wine glass, wine tasting at each of the seven wineries, chocolate to complement the wine tasting, 6 bottle wine tote. For something truly romantic, experience the magic of the Cupid Walk at Bloedel Reserve Feb. 9-18. and local hotels have stepped up with special lodging packages that include a bottle of wine and other perks.

February 10 – Winter Sip and Stroll – Gig Harbor: offers beer, wine, spirits and small bites at stops along the picturesque downtown waterfront.

February 10, and 14th – D’Vine Wines in Kingston – Another peaceful ferry ride from Edmonds to Kingston takes you to this charming little favorite hang-out that is will feature chocolates and wine tasting on Saturday afternoon and Wednesday, Valentine’s Day from 5 pm until 8 pm.

February 17, Heronswood Garden – Kingston – For an intoxicating experience for the senses, head to this world renown and beloved local garden for splendid wine and chocolate pairings by Amelia Wynn Winery of Bainbridge Island and ChocMo Chocolatier of Poulsbo. Learn to incorporate garden cuttings in fresh new ways with inspiring design demonstrations by Thistle Floral & Home of Kingston.

Valentine Day Dinner Dates

My Valentine Dinner & Movie – Bremerton. Enjoy an evening of flowers, chocolate, and romance at the Admiral Theatre. After an extravagant dinner, let the sparks fly between you and your sweetheart while enjoying the classic romantic comedy, “Roman Holiday,” starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn.

Valentine Day Paint & Sip – Poulsbo. Treat your significant other to a special night out with a lovely 3-course meal in the historic Main Lodge at Kiana Lodge. Dinner followed by a special paint & sip event in our Garden Atrium.

Sweet Treats to Give & Get Anytime

Chocolate is a decidedly deliciously sweet way to show your love and you’ll find plenty of places to choose from at artisanal chocolate shops located around the Kitsap Peninsula. Famous northwest chocolates from Boehm’s Chocolates in Poulsbo, a very sweet start to your romantic getaway. Across from the Poulsbo Red Lion Guest House on 7th St. is ChocMo Chocolatier and Café offering over 20 different chocolate confections and a glass of red wine.

Amy’s Decadent Chocolates on 6th Avenue in Bremerton has some of the best handmade chocolates, fabulous old fashioned fudge, nut delights, Brickles, toffees and pure dark chocolate truffles.

The award-winning sweets at Carter’s Chocolates in Port Orchard are just too decadent to resist. Using single origin, organically grown chocolate since in 2008, Carter’s creates truffles barks, turtles, and lots of very unique flavors.

Bainbridge Island’s amazing Pink Peony Chocolates can be found at Bon Bon Confections, home of Bainbridge Island fudge plus lots of other local mouthwatering truffles, specialty chocolates, and sugar-free candies.  Also on Bainbridge, chocolatier chef Tomas Ronyai at L’Atelier Chocolate selection includes luscious Dark Chocolate Cassis, a delectable variety of caramels and tea infusions, Dulce De Leche, Praline Kirsch and more.
