Fall Colors On Display – One of the best places to experience nature’s colorful transformation is Port Gamble located in North Kitsap Peninsula. The streets of this historic Victorian town are lined with towering maples, shops, and eateries. If you’d like to stay in one of the historic homes just travel to the Port Gamble Guest Houses website.

Thru November 2 – Kitsap County Haunted House – Kitsap County Fairgrounds

October 25- 26 – Haunted Heronswood Garden Ghosts and goblins, young and old, will enjoy the stroll through Jack O’ Lantern Lane and past vignettes inspired by S’Klallam and other Native American stories and traditional Halloween characters. October 26 – Kitsap Live Steamers Ghost Train – This popular attraction offers freaky fun for the whole family. Ride these amazing scale model trains through forests filled with ghosts and goblins. Located at South Kitsap Regional Park. CLICK HERE TO MAP IT
October 27 – 14th Annual Spooky 12K Run – Runners vie for best costume while running along scenic wooded trails in the great Port Gamble forest. A wonderful time to enjoy the great outdoors on the Kitsap Peninsula! Sign up online at poulsborunning.com.
Thru November 1 – Pheasant Field Farms, Celebrate the final harvest with family-friendly events at this working farm in operation since 1905. November 2-3 – Bremerton Antique Auto Swap Meet – Kitsap County Fairgrounds – This 30-year old swap is a treasure trove of historic car parts, automotive memorabilia, general vintage, and antique items and so much more. November 9 – Kitsap Salmon Tour – Bring family and friends to celebrate the kickoff of salmon returning to Kitsap streams at these FREE events! Learn about the remarkable life cycle of the salmon and their ecological needs and actions people can take to build and maintain a successful balance between salmon and humans. Salmon Docents and volunteers will talk about the various types of salmon in eight viewing sites around Kitsap, the salmon life cycle, and healthy fish habitat. November 8 -11 – Art in the Woods Studio Tour – Attention art lovers. Make plans now for a long weekend getaway to enjoy a leisurely self-guided tour of 20 studios located in on county roads in Kingston, Indianola, Suquamish, and Poulsbo. The tour feature more than 60 professional local artists working in a variety of media giving visitors the chance to see “artists at work”.
