If you love music, come to the Kitsap Peninsula this summer. Nearly every city and town hosts free waterfront concerts in irresistible settings. Bring the kids, pack a picnic and get ready to rock ‘cause we’ve got your summer jam.

Bainbridge Island – The park district hosts Sounds of Summer concerts at Battle Point Park at 7 p.m. Wednesdays from July 6-Aug. 3. It’s fun for the whole family with food vendors, face painting and balloon clowns. A Frank Sinatra tribute is on the schedule along with CMT award winner Chance McKinney and local favorite, Planet Groove. Info.

Bremerton – It’s a party on the Bremerton Boardwalk this summer with the Rock the Dock concert series, featuring 16 performances on eight nights. The line-up includes something for all musical tastes, including rock, country, jazz and salsa (with dance lessons). The Saturday concerts run through Aug. 27 and start at 5 p.m. Food trucks and vendors open at 4. Here’s the schedule.

Clearwater Casino ­­& Resort – These popular lawn concerts overlooking Agate Passage start at 7 p.m. on Thursdays in July and August. American Idol finalist Sanjaya Malakar, Country pop singer and songwriter Kelsea Ballerini and a Journey tribute band are on the schedule. More info.

Gig Harbor – Tuesdays are concert nights at Skansie Brothers Park in downtown Gig Harbor through Aug. 16. The lineup includes The Beatniks, an Elvis impersonator and the David Correa Group playing instrumental Latin guitar. Delivery service is available from popular downtown restaurants and concert goers are encouraged to ride the Gig Harbor Trolley. The music starts at 6:30. Details.

Kingston – Concerts on the Cove take place in Kingston’s beautiful Mike Wallace Park at 5 p.m. Saturdays through Aug. 27. There are food vendors and a beer garden. Local favorite Pay Day Daddy plays Aug. 20 as part of the Kingston Wine Walk at a 21-and-over event. All other concerts are family-friendly. Here’s more.

Manette – Music in Manette takes over Whitey Domstad Park at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 18. The line-up includes the Navy Band, local favorite Ranger and the Rearrangers and the child-friendly Casper Babypants. Details.

Port Orchard – Concerts by the Bay take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 25 at the waterfront gazebo. There’s something for everyone with jazz, blues, country and Sinatra and Elvis impersonators. The season will end with a special jazz concert by Clave Con at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4. More info.

Poulsbo – Summer Nights at the Bay livens up Tuesdays in Poulsbo with family concerts at 6:30 p.m. National Fiddle Champions The Voetberg Family Band are on the schedule, along with Navy Band NW, Betsy & the Boys honky tonk blues and the Poulsbo Orchestra. Here’s more.
