From music legends to heartwarming holiday shows, the Kitsap Peninsula is an entertaining place to be this fall. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

Admiral Theatre – The fall line-up at this restored 1942 art deco movie house includes New Orleans funk legend Dr. John Oct. 9, In My Life – Beatles Tribute Oct. 13, the vocal stylings of Rockapella Oct. 14, The Capitol Steps political satire Oct. 29, the irreverent Late Nite Catechism Nov. 5, The Price is Right – Live Dec. 3 and Mark O’ Connor’s An Appalachian Christmas Dec. 16. Bainbridge Performing Arts – The theater’s 60th season opens with web-preview-picasso2_largeSteve Martin’s absurdist comedy Picasso at the Lapin Agile, which imagines a 1904 meeting between Picasso and Einstein. The show runs Oct. 7-23. Tickets.

Bremerton Community Theatre Waiting in the Wings by Noel Coward is a love letter to theater and a wise and witty look at the problems of aging. You’ll have to wait until the last scene to find out why two elderly actresses keep their long-time feud alive all the way to the retirement home. Runs Nov. 4-20. Info. 

Central Stage Theatre – The Herdmans are the worst kids ever – they swear, smoke, steal and terrorize their classmates. But something amazing happens when they learn about the Christmas story in this hilarious gem by Barbara Robinson. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever runs Nov. 25-Dec. 18. Learn more.

Jewel Box Theatre – Final weekend for Murder at the Café Noir, a CafeNoirFlyer1940s-era whodunit, punctuated with comedy, music and, of course, murder. Performances at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7-8. The Armadillo Acres gang is back in The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical and is competing in a Mobile Homes & Garden Christmas decorating contest. Hilarity ensues Nov. 11-Dec. 11. Olalla Community Club – Admission to this concert series is by a suggested donation of $15-$20 and the shows are preceded by a community potluck. Coming up are some amazing songwriters, including Jasper Lepak Oct. 8, Scott Mickelson Nov. 12 and Terry and Jerry Holder Dec. 17. For more. 

Port Gamble Theater – A classic board game comes to life in Clue – LW&W_logoThe Musical Oct. 7-23 at this historic theater and patrons travel to Narnia for the holidays in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe Dec. 2-18. Info.

Suquamish Clearwater Resort – The resort offers a full and diverse line-up of entertainment, including Dueling Pianos, Oct. 6, Nov. 10 and Dec. 8, The Lalas outrageous burlesque show Oct. 13, industrial rock group Filter Oct. 20, Buckcherry and former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, Oct. 28, and Society of Seven – Last of the Great Show Bands, Nov. 5-6. Western Washington Center for the ArtsThe Last Five Years looks at both sides of a couple’s love and break-up story through Oct. 16. The cult classic Rocky Horror Show comes to Port Orchard for four special performances Oct. 28-31 and Ralphie will help you see the holidays through a child’s eyes during A Christmas Story, Nov. 18-Dec. 18.
