Kitsap County Fair and Stampede – Bremerton – Aug 21 – 25 – Celebrating over 60 years of rides, ribbons & rodeo. Includes free concerts, rodeo & Xtreme Bulls, kids zone, carnival rides, Kitsap Destruction Derby, Kitsap County sheriff’s K-9 shows, crafts & vendor booths, and 4-H exhibits. Free admission. Great fun for the whole family!

Bremerton Blackberry Festival – Aug 31 – Sept 2 – This FREE, family-friendly festival takes over Bremerton’s picturesque waterfront over Labor Day weekend. From modest beginnings in 1990, the berry fest has evolved into THE summer-ending extravaganza for the Puget Sound. Includes 100+ food, arts & crafts vendors, live music, chalk art gallery, beer and wine garden, lots of kids friendly activities and more.

Wayzgoose Public Arts Festival –  BremertonAug 31 – Sept 2 –  The highlight of the event is watching 2 full-size steamrollers print large posters of linoleum blocks hand-carved by 24 local artists. Other activities include print-related talks, workshops, and activities for all ages.

You can get to the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula via one of four WA State Ferries; Seattle-Bremerton, Edmonds-Kingston, Seattle-Bainbridge Island, West Seattle/Vashon-Southworth.
